Our client BOSNA Logistics is a logistics service provider with more than 25 years of experience. They provide logistics solutions from start to finish, including administration and Customs activities. Per client and product, BOSNA assesses which modalities offer the best combination for departure, delivery time, and costs. This allows them to go the extra mile and reduce costs and CO2 emissions for clients.
One of BOSNA’s clients is Solidus. Solidus is a European producer of solid board and solid board packaging. They offer a comprehensive range of recyclable packaging solutions and supply various sectors such as the food industry, the luxury sector, graphic applications, and various industries. Solidus has been doing this for 150 years! They now have 18 locations in various European countries, more than 1500 employees, and a total production capacity of 450,000 tons.

The challenge
However, logistics is not part of Solidus’ core business, and that is why they engaged BOSNA to handle it for them. However, they remain two separate companies, each with their own working method and systems. Previously, when Solidus needed logistics services, they contacted BOSNA by phone or email. That carries risks. With email or a phone call, there is a greater chance of making a mistake. For example, a typo, something being misheard, or an email with documentation being accidentally deleted. Fortunately, BOSNA’s service is top-notch, and these types of issues were always well resolved. However, it again costs both parties a lot of time because they have to call or email again.
Introduction Portal Adaption
Adaption created a Portal for Solidus. The Portal connects Solidus’ system with BOSNA’s system. This allows Solidus and BOSNA to place orders, handle invoicing, and upload documents via the Portal. The Portal contains a fixed workflow so that everyone knows what needs to happen when.
