With 15,000 full truckloads annually and seasonal peaks around holidays, the TMS ensures optimal use of truck capacity, reducing costs per transport and minimizing the number of empty trips.
Thanks to Adaption’s TMS, Royal FloraHolland can operate more efficiently and sustainably, with full control over their logistics processes.
The TMS supports various steps in the process by automatically creating orders upon approval and selecting the most suitable carrier based on cost, capacity, and fair distribution. Additionally, the system provides real-time status updates, so planners, carriers, and locations always have insight into the transport status, from approval to delivery. The costs per trip are also automatically calculated and sent to the financial system in SAP via self-billing, ensuring efficient financial processing. Finally, all transport data is sent to the data warehouse, providing valuable insights into cost differences and opportunities for further optimization.
