Working at Adaption IT

After my study applied physics, I started programming in all kind of environments in 1998. I have had different employers, but I didn’t always like the way of working. That is why I didn’t regret it when I started working at Adaption in 2014. The approach of Adaption really fits me.

The way of working really fits me

I like that we don’t waste our time at Adaption on endless discussions and meetings, this makes it possible to focus on things that really matter. We try to program in the most efficient way. Everything that can be automatized, is automatized. Because of this we don’t waste our time programming the same and dull things. We use as much as possible standards and these standards are tested automatically. When you don’t follow the standards or for example when you make a mistake, the system will indicate this directly. This creates a lot of clarity and you can work faster and this is exactly the way of working at Adaption that fits me.

Quality Board Member

I am a real perfectionist and that is why I am besides Oracle Software Engineer also Quality Board Member since a few months. As a Quality Board Member, I always make sure that the quality of our solution meets our high quality demands. The result has to be good and Adaption offers the possibility to achieve this.
