The Start
In 2010, Adaption was founded. Our goal was to develop software for businesses that experience and maintain logistics processes. We wanted our software to help provide and maintain control of the logistics. Not just that, but the software also had to support the corresponding administrative and financial processes. We know from experience that gaining and maintaining control in an ever-changing world is a challenge for many businesses. Existing software, and its architecture, cannot be easily adapted to face that challenge.
We recognize logistics software needs to be easily adaptable to new developments, newly determined requirements and ever-changing legislation and regulations. As the logistics market is dynamic and ever-changing, the software and its architecture need to meet specific requirements. The software should, at minimum, be: scalable, cloud-based, stable, customizable and affordable.

Nine years later, the result is the reliable Logistics Cloud Suite which offers various logistics solutions that fully support the logistics processes of our customers. The modules can be combinedly and interdependently or independently. This flexibility enables you to quickly respond to new developments and changing wishes of your customers and suppliers at all times.

After years of working for large logistics IT firms, we realized there was no future in custom-designed software. Similarly, standardized software does not always answer the client’s complete set of requirements. That is why we offer flexible standardized software for the logistics industry. Software that has the characteristics of a standardized software system, yet, in addition, offers adaptability. This way, the software is adaptable to customer demands at any time.

Quality comes first in our products; the software should be failproof and up and running at all times! Next to developing a significant number of functionalities, our focus lies in the quality of our software. We specialize in preventing bugs, ensuring our customers can always rely- on and continue to work with our logistics software.

Ronald Korporaal
FOUNDER
Ronald studied Technical Business Administration at the Eindhoven University of Technology. Ronald is interested in business processes and optimally setting up logistics systems.
Working for large IT firms over a long period, I soon noticed there would be no future in large scale customization projects. The implementations took up a great deal of time. Also, the software was not always reliable enough to meet the customers quality requirement.
Together with Toon Schilder, I founded Adaption to change all this. All of our software meets high-quality standards, providing our clients with functional software 24/7, allowing and enabling them to expand their business.

While studying Applied Computer Sciences, I became interested in optimizing systems and intelligently interpreting and utilizing data.
I noticed people kept reinventing the wheel, during the many customization projects I’ve worked on. That’s why I am a great advocate of standardized software that has a flexible setup. No more big scale customization projects with lengthy implementation periods. Instead, software that is implemented quickly and can be set up flexibly towards customer requirements.
I want to offer genuine added value to the primary business processes of our clients with the Adaption products. Swift implementation and high-quality standardized software, that is what I stand for!
Dennis Verdaasdonk
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
I am responsible for the product development team and the design and development of the standardized logistics Cloud applications.
My focus lies in creating applications with a solid foundation. It also needs to be adaptable to customer requirements and wishes through configuration. When the software design contains an error, we correct this immediately. In doing so, we avoid an inconsistent system, with an increasing number of exceptions. After all, a large number of exceptions is unmaintainable.
